At the Dawn of a New Year

“We are at the dawn of a New Year.

Two years of the pandemic have made us realize how resilient the social fabric of our communities is. How even physical distance can strengthen mutual support and solidarity.

We recognize that our society can, given the means to do so, support the transition that is needed for the future. These past months have revealed an extraordinary potential for creativity and innovation in the new collaborations that have emerged between different actors in society. We know how to do things differently, and we know how to do them together.

If we can’t be physically near to one another in the immediate future, let’s come together to make a positive impact through our capacity for action and collective revitalization.

May 2022 bring us the warmth and joy of hugging one another in person and the energy to move forward together toward a future that delights us all.

Happy New Year to all!”
