Capacity building and support for a new social-innovation training course with Groupe 3737

Groupe 3737, a non-profit organization based in Montreal, works to create and develop more businesses, organizations, jobs and wealth in Canada through the projects of individuals from ethnocultural diversity, in order to make a significant economic and social impact.

In 2023, the MIS team worked with Groupe 3737 on two initiatives: internal capacity building and the creation of a social innovation training program.

Combining theory and practice in social innovation

The MIS supported Groupe 3737 in helping the selection committee to decide on applications for the NPO call for projects. This capacity-building support for Groupe 3737 advisors focused, among other things, on “coachability” criteria for incubation cohort participants.

Our team also helped set up a new social innovation training program for a cohort of some thirty companies, which led to the creation of a project pitch. The course consisted of workshops combining theory and practice around the concepts of innovation and social entrepreneurship.
